LE ROUGE ET LE NOIR

LE ROUGE ET LE NOIR
A shawl / stole with a sleeve
Piece Unique

Up-cycled patchwork of fabrics, in silks ,satin , sequins, block printed .

The sleeve is knotted around the wrist . The bow is hand-sewn , to preserve its shape.
Closed with ribbons : one side black sequins , to be in harmony with the sequins on the shawl , lined side , in vintage black velvet .

You can wear it in different ways , here I fixed the long right side in my trousers.

For information , I am a small girl ;)  1,59 cm / 5'2" .
For the photo session , I wear shoes 4.5" / 11 cm , to have a "standard" size !

All the flowers in red and pale gold are block printed.

Silk stripes in red , cream/ pale gold , in satin red , pale gold , black , and black sequins create wide borders all around the shawl .

Another way to wear this shawl is wrapped around the neck , as a scarf :

Measurements Total Length from the bow on the wrist to the end of the fabric panel : 75" / 190 cm
