A tropical mood .....

I embroider the collar with glass beads from India , old stock from the 1980s/90s and vintage rosary beads from France ( the black and turquoise ) , dated 1930s , new tassels in rayon.

Between the beads , my rustic wool and cotton embroidery .

Neck circumference 15 inch // 38 cm
From the front neckline to the bottom tassels : 15.5 inch // 39 cm
Length Pendants : 9 inch & 8 inch // 20 cm & 23 cm
Front Width : 8.5 inch  // 21 cm
Width medallion toucan : 5.25 inch // 13 cm

Closed on the neck by 2 magnetic snap fastener : a very easy way to fix it .

This necklace is comfortable to wear : between the front and the lining , i use felt , to give its shape and thickness .
These 2 parts are hand-sewn together.
The lining is an up-cycled silk printed flowers . I used this same silk on the collar , but as it is totally covered by the beads , we don't recognize it !
The medallion with the toucan is a thick cotton printed : I added green colors with acrylic paint , where the turquoise rosary beads are hand-sewn .
